Job Description

The Director, BPO for SMT will be entrusted with a broad portfolio of responsibilities to accelerate growth, drive and mitigate both short and long-term opportunities and challenges to ensure the cluster’s business performance is optimized.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Country and Functional leadership teams within SMT, as well as their broader teams across the region, to understand market landscapes, assist with Go-to-Market strategies that can help accelerate growth in their respective markets, and execute key strategic initiatives, including but not limited to business/market expansion, organizational re-design, multi-year strategic planning, and capability building. The successful candidate will also work in close collaboration with the corporate functions, to develop and manage scorecards and targets, performance management measures and metrics, and develop reporting and executive communication formats and cadences. This position reports to the Senior Director, Business Planning and Operations for SMT.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years’ professional experience, ideally gained at top-tier management consulting firms or within a Corporate Strategy group in a multinational setting.
• Deep financial acumen, analytical skills and strategic thinking, with the capacity to understand complex and detailed issues.
• Robust ability to represent data visually and construct high-quality presentations that effectively convey actionable insights.
• Excellent presentation skills, along with impeccable written and verbal communication abilities, with the ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels.
• A results-driven mindset, complemented by effective planning abilities and keen attention to detail. Capacity to navigate ambiguity, lead projects independently and proactively solve problems by demonstrating self-motivation and initiative.
