Job Description

The Director, Commercial LMM Sales Executive, is responsible for managing sales within a specific market segment of US Financial Institutions. This individual will act as a subject matter expert, supporting key issuing clients in the US Large issuer market. The role involves spearheading and driving sales opportunities, providing thought leadership, and optimizing efforts with an existing client portfolio, focusing on enhancing partnerships through various products, platforms, and services. The ideal candidate is an experienced, collaborative sales executive with extensive expertise in the Large and Middle Market sectors, capable of delivering results in a matrixed environment.

Position Scope:

· Deliver on sales targets, goals and portfolio purchase volume growth.

· Manage a sales pipeline and drive the opportunity lifecycle for new Large & Middle Market sales opportunities, including but not limited to products, platforms, partnerships, and services. These opportunities may be executed in the form of formal RFPs, or ad-hoc sales conversations, identified throughout the course of the ongoing engagement with the client.

· Partner with Visa Account Executive teams (issuer, merchant, co-brand) on account planning, sales opportunities, pipeline, and cross functional work streams with Visa teams including Marketing, Client Services, Consulting & Analytics, and Product.

· Foster relationships with critical industry stakeholders within the Commercial landscape, such as industry partnerships and associations, to highlight the value of Visa Commercial Solutions. Contribute to the strategy and execution plan for Visa Commercial Solutions presence at key events, including the development and delivery of presentations to senior and larger audiences.

· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide input and voice of the customer to refine and build new Large & Middle Market product, partnerships & platform enhancements.

 

This is a remote position. A remote position does not require job duties be performed within proximity of a Visa office location. Remote positions may be required to be present at a Visa office with scheduled notice.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
•10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• Experienced sales executive with a proven track record of exceeding goals.
• Ability to interpret data and translate findings into strategic insights and actionable recommendations
• Strong analytical skills and business case development experience
• Strong public speaking and presentation experience (large and small groups) • Experience presenting to, and building relationships with, senior management level audiences, both internally and externally
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross functional areas to influence and achieve consensus on goals and objectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to influence and communicate effectively across technical teams and business teams
• Excellent planning, organizational and critical thinking skills

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 50-60% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
