Software Engineer - Sr. Consultant level - job 50 of 50
Visa Technology & Operations LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Software Engineer – Sr. Consultant level (multiple openings) in Austin, TX to:
- Analyze, document, design, code, unit test, and implement solutions for system enhancements, and production fixes.
- Collaborate with business units and technical staff to understand business requirements for use in designing appropriate solutions.
- Evaluate options and provide recommendations on scope and scale of effort required to implement final requirements.
- Build and maintain effective relationships across functional areas to provide superior product support.
- Cultivate and suggest ideas for the extension of current systems to new products and services.
- Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements to standards, processes, and systems.
- Provide rotational 24x7 on call support for problem analysis and resolution as scheduled.
- Ensure on-schedule delivery of a high-quality product that meets business and technical requirements.
- Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate to ensure the quality of work delivered by teammates is in accordance with development standards.
- Position reports to the Austin, Texas office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
