Job Description Summary
The Information Systems AI Intern is a one-year, fixed-term position for recent graduates who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in the field of artificial intelligence. This position will work primarily with the Data Analytics and Enterprise Systems teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI-powered solutions that drive adoption with the goal of productivity gains.Job Description
Data Analysis and AI Applications
Collect, process, and analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions.
Create interactive dashboards and reports to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Design, train, and test AI models using various algorithms (e.g., machine learning, deep learning) to solve complex problems.
Workflow and Customer Service Innovation
Collaborate with functional teams (e.g., Admissions, Student Services, Registrar, HR) to identify areas where AI can improve workflows and customer service.
Design and prototype AI solutions (e.g., chatbots, intelligent automation, personalized recommendations) to address identified needs.
Document processes and provide training materials for end-users
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and data science, identifying new opportunities for innovation and growth.
Requirements:
Recent graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
Familiarity with AI programming languages such as Python, R and SQL
Familiarity analytical and machine learning concepts and techniques
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Co-Pilot, Gemini, Chat GPT or similar AI Tools
Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and application with analytic applications
