Position Summary...What you'll do...As a part of the Walmart Merchandising Operations organization, you will deliver solutions that directly impact the company’s ability to service our customers. It is not just a belief, but our way of doing business.The Inventory Health team’s goal is to enable world class execution of product movement to deliver a delightful customer experience while saving them both time and money in unexpected ways.What you’ll do…• Direct and optimize supply chain execution for multiple category groups by leading strategic cross-functional projects. You will review and authorize plans for non-standard movement and arrival of merchandise across the supply chain and develop category level order strategies for optimized inventory management.• Collaborate with cross functional partners in supply chain and merchandising to improve inventory flow and respond to escalated issues related to order placement and capacity constraints and communicate financial and operational performance to senior management.• Provide inputs for inventory budgets and goals, prioritize and provide visibility for key programs, and partner with various stakeholders to capture correction of errors.• Partner in the development and execution of strategic plans to ensure we meet our financial goals.The above information has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed in the role.
