NA War on Waste Program covers the optimization of Waste in NA Supply Chain including Manufacturing Waste, Finished Goods Damages & Expiries and Raw /Pack Materials Write offs.


  • Act as the Program Governance Right Arm for the NA War on Waste Lead
  • Drives consistency and quality in execution of project(s), utilizing the appropriate methodology and tools. Confirms the completion and consistency of project(s) and readiness to go live
  • Proactively identifies, effectively assesses, and mitigates project level risks (escalates to Global Leads and/ or Program Manager when needed).
  • Provides project reporting and status updates - Scorecards, Status Reports, Monthly Review Meetings - leading stakeholder meetings as appropriate.
  • Lead budget management, resource planning and utilization, Governance, Compliance as per the operating model protocols. Lead, support & coach team of Business support analysts.
  • Leads, supports, or validates change based on the degree of change
  • Works closely with the War on Waste Team Lead /organization.
  • Works closely Supply Chain sites [IM/EM/FC] operational teams & cross functional support functions [Engineering, BD, RDQ & procurement]
  • Influencing the supply chain organization to execute timely the waste identified opportunities.
  • 80-20% approach to drive scalable improvements at site level impacting cross functional deliverables.
  • Sustainable opportunities combining low hanging fruits and long-term benefits
  • Govern the War on Waste Technical agenda [Meetings, projects, timelines, cross functional follow up]
  • Co-lead some war on waste projects


What extra ingredients you will bring:


  • PMO Experience 5years ++
  • Proven experience of project management methodology
  • Excellent communication skills and able to drive effective discussions with project resources from tactical execution level up to steering committee members
  • Excellent Project planning and proactiveness in identifying risks and mitigations and managing to strict timelines
  • Strong focus on Cost, Schedule and Quality of Project delivery
  • Knowledge of relevant business processes and related technology solutions
  • Stakeholder management and ability to influence positively in decision making
  • Proven ability in building effective teams across internal and external partners
  • Strong Conceptual and analytic skills – enjoys problem solving


Education / Certifications:

Bachelor's Degree is required.


Job specific requirements:

  • This position is responsible for delivering the NA Zero Waste Agenda /Program for 23-25 [$150MM of Gross Productivity]
  • People span of influence: Waste LT/Stakeholders, Supply Chain Teams [Manufacturing & Logistics] & Cross Functions.


Travel requirements:

Less than 10%
