As a Senior Audit Accountant, you will take charge of auditing financial statements, annual reports, and quarterly financial information. You'll engage in pre-audit planning, assess potential risks, and craft effective audit procedures to ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Your role will also involve identifying and resolving accounting and audit issues, while conducting thorough testing of internal controls and procedures. We'll rely on your expertise in Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), alongside your ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. An essential part of your responsibilities will be mentoring and training junior staff and interns, fostering their professional development within Wipfli. If you possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance and have 1-3 years of relevant experience, along with CPA eligibility, we would love to hear from you.
