At Workable, we are on the lookout for a Software Engineer, Operations to join our dynamic Technical Operations team. If you're passionate about technology and enjoy troubleshooting, this role might be your perfect fit! As a Software Engineer focusing on Operations, you'll get the chance to dive deep into technical challenges. Your primary responsibilities will include investigating and resolving production issues, responding to customer queries, and performing operations on behalf of our clients, as escalated by the Customer Support team. You’ll begin by analyzing the root causes of production errors and suggesting improvements to our product that enhance the customer experience. As you settle into your role and your skills develop, you'll also get the opportunity to automate operational needs through software development and contribute to our internal Admin application. We value clear communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality in all that you do. Ideally, you have at least a year of experience in software development or relevant academic work. A solid foundation in databases and SQL is essential, alongside a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
