ABOUT THE POSITION We are looking for an ambitious and process-driven individual to join our Clean Transportation business to help grow, manage, and maintain business clients who entrust us with managing their clean transportation and renewable energy assets. The Operations and Reporting Associate position will report to the Operations and Reporting Manager. The position will require technical skills to understand the complex processes associated with our operations and the details needed to ensure that asset applications are submitted, usage is reported, credits are generated, and clients are paid and managed in an accurate, timely, and thoughtful manner. The position will have the following responsibilities: The individual will work closely with the sales team to onboard new clients and maintain healthy relationships with clients• As our business client base and their assets grow, we must continue to be their trusted partner to guide them in the use of complex regulatory programs, to get them the best value for their credit-generating efforts, and accelerate the adoption of clean equipment• Work and communicate remotely with our partners, regulatory agencies, and vendors to understand, influence, and manage credit-generation activity and reportingDevelop knowledge and understanding of the relevant environmental commodities regulation, operational processes and policies, and broader service offering• Learn the complex state clean transportation and solar renewable energy certification rules and procedures• Familiarize yourself with SRECTrade’s clean transportation services portfolio and demonstrate our unique platform and services to clients and partners within the regulatory ad commodity frameworks• Educate clients and partners on how the relevant markets function and how they can participate• Use this knowledge to guide and identify with clients additional needs and service offering we can provide, teaming with the account team for pursuit of the additional businessProcess incoming assets from onboarded clients in an accurate and timely manner and report consumption / generation to respective regulatory agencies by the deadlines• Assist in the asset registration process of clean transportation equipment to participate in the Low Carbon Fuel Standard programs in California, Oregon, and other future clean transportation state markets• Coordinate solar asset registration of state certified systems in appropriate tracking registry• Assist with any other work necessary to process applications and to continue supporting our existing client and partner base, along with entering new states and marketsProvide onboarding training for using our platform and its tools, along with ongoing support for our clients• Assist in new client onboarding process by providing training and support to access and utilize SRECTrade’s platform for their accounts, asset inventory, and transactions• Communicate with clients and provide tools to assist with questions and providing necessary information for onboarding and reporting purposes• Ensure the onboarding cycle has been successfully been completed and transitioned into ongoing service management, which you will also manage on a recurring basis for these clientsRequirements:• Excellent internal and external communication skills, verbal and written, with a friendly demeanor and a welcome presence with clients• Can-do attitude. Happy to roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
