The Role:


Yubico is in the enviable position of its security products being deployed at scale in 9 out of the top 10 internet firms. Much of this success comes from Yubico connecting directly with our customers. As the Business Development Representative, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers interested in our solutions. Revenue booked is the critical measure, but this role is so much more, it's also about changing the world to be able to Trust the Net.



Tasks & Responsibilities:
  • Achieve monthly quotas by building new opportunities/pipeline
  • Conduct a large volume of inbound and outbound calls, emails, and social connections to customers and prospects to gather and share information and initiate the first step in identifying those interested parties in learning more about the company’s products and services and respond to incoming inquiries
  • Generate sales-ready meetings and opportunities for Account Executives
  • Daily integration with Salesforce to adopt accounts, leads, contacts, and opportunities according to sales department best practices, policies, and procedures
  • Report to Director of Inside Sales 


Basic Qualifications:
  • Prior internship experience with lead generation using the phone and email
  • Results-driven, self-starter, persistent, highly motivated to increase earnings despite rejection
  • Fast learner, able to rapidly adapt to new approaches. 
  • Excellent verbal and written (email) communications skills
  • Must be a team player above all else! 
  • 1yr of BDR experience


$55,000 - $60,000 a year
Yubico offers a holistic Total Rewards package designed to support our employees in all aspects of their life inside and outside of work. This role has the annual  salary range of $55,000to $60,000 plus $30,000 target compensation for a candidate located in the San Francisco Bay Area. For roles that are filled in other locations, the compensation range will be based on the data for local cost of labor provided by the Economic Research Institute. Final compensation is also based on a number of factors including, but not limited to,  job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
