Lead the deployment and delivery of learning and training to AEI employees to drive desired performance, support business objectives, and ensure compliance with AbbVie policies/procedures and regulatory requirements. The Senior Manager of Learning Delivery will assess training effectiveness against employee and business performance metrics as defined by AEI leadership. This role will also lead a team of Learning Business Partners in order to partner deeply with all of the AEI businesses and functions.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal and cross-functional business partners to assess business and employee learning needs and determine appropriate solutions to meet those needs
Collaborate closely with SMEs and the Learning team to ensure programs cover desired behavioral and performance outcomes, as determined by the business
Lead the Learning Delivery strategy to ensure our learning programs align with business priorities, regulatory requirements, and applicable AbbVie policies and procedures
Support new launches, onboarding, leadership development, employee upskilling, and other learning programs as required
Leader on the Learning and Training team, providing guidance and mentorship to staff
Participate in global, cross-functional initiatives, maintaining regular communication with COE team members
Lead and develop a team of high functioning direct reports responsible for facilitating the delivery of various engaging and creative learning programs
Bachelor’s degree in Learning and Development, Organizational Development, or Adult Education. Master’s degree preferred
Minimum eight (8) years of experience in learning and employee development required
Minimum 3 years supervisory experience and learning program management experience
Possess a high degree of integrity, judgment, and discretion
Adaptable and able to work in a dynamic environment with frequently changing needs and priorities
Self-sufficient, detail-oriented and be able to lead projects from needs analysis to evaluation
Able to apply appropriate adult learning theories, instructional techniques, and in-person and virtual classroom facilitation to enhance the learning experience
Experience using learning tools, technology platforms, and Microsoft Office applications required
Possess excellent communication and influencing skills, including comprehensive knowledge and application of business and quality concepts.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
