Job Description

AECOM Hunt is seeking an Administrative Intern to be based in Indianapolis, IN.

This position is expected to begin in Summer 2025.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.

Internships at AECOM are designed to provide valuable hands-on experience in engineering, design, construction management and infrastructure projects that have a real-world impact while they are enrolled in undergraduate and graduate programs furthering their education. Interns gain exposure to cutting-edge technology, industry best practices, and collaboration with experienced professionals in a global firm. Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Candidate must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree Business Management, Psychology, or similar discipline, and must have completed at least 1 year of study. Candidates who have recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree and plan to continue with the Master’s degree are eligible to apply for these positions.  Recent graduates must have been enrolled in their bachelor’s degree in the most previous school term with an interest in pursuing an advanced degree in the same or similar discipline at the conclusion of the internship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous relevant internship experience.
  • Exposure to other construction-based computer programs.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, and Outlook), as well as exposure to other construction-based computer programs.

Additional Information

  • Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available now or in the future for this position.
  • Relocation assistance may be available for this position.
  • Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
