Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute design work across multiple formats—digital, UI/UX, print, packaging, social content, brand identity, video concepts, creative storytelling, and campaign design.
- Translate strategy, brand positioning, and audience insights into compelling concepts that cut through the noise.
- Develop high-quality assets from concept to production—preparing files to meet technical, brand, and professional standards.
- Guide the creative process from ideation to final delivery, ensuring the work is both visually powerful and strategically on point.
- Stay plugged into design trends, cultural shifts, and platform behaviors—and use that insight to shape creative direction.
- Present your work with clarity and confidence—internally, with clients, and in cross-functional collaborations.
- Dive deep into each client’s industry, audience, and objectives to recommend strategic ideas—not just pretty pictures.
- Craft creative that moves people—from awareness to action—whether that’s clicking, buying, sharing, or remembering.
- Balance multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables—without losing your edge or your sense of humor.
- Collaborate with strategists, producers, and other creatives—offering feedback, pushing ideas, and engaging in respectful, creative debate.
- Work smart within timelines, scopes, and budgets.
- Keep project records organized and handle light admin work as needed to keep the creative engine running smoothly.

Professional Skills and Experience:
- Strong creative chops forged in the real world—through agency work, on an in-house creative team, or through independent projects where you wore all the hats.
- A strong, diverse portfolio that demonstrates your creative range—from brand identity and UI design to digital campaigns, motion/video concepts, and AI-assisted design explorations.
- Sharp eye for typography, layout, color, and composition. You bring critical attention to detail and a refined design sensibility that elevates every project you touch.
- Advanced proficiency in industry-standard design tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), Figma, and Squarespace. Experience with AI-powered design tools. We value designers who not only know the tools—but know how to bend them in creative, innovative ways.
- Experience prompting and collaborating with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and generative design platforms (e.g., Midjourney, DALL·E, Adobe Firefly, Runway) to streamline creative workflows, enhance storytelling, develop mood boards, support concept ideation, prototyping, copy generation, and image creation. You know how to thoughtfully integrate AI into the design process to amplify—never replace—your creativity.
- Strong understanding of visual trends, user experience principles, and cross-platform design best practices. You know how to create work that’s both beautiful and functional—serving both the user and the brand.
- Strategic thinking and a solid grasp of marketing, branding, and creative direction. You understand how design connects to business goals and can collaborate effectively with strategists, copywriters, and marketers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills. You’re comfortable juggling multiple projects and client accounts across a range of industries—while delivering consistently high standards.
- While formal education can offer a solid base, we prioritize your creative thinking, your portfolio, and the unique perspective you bring to our team above all else.
- Salary: $70,000-$90,000 dependent on experience
