Product Manager

Duties: Serve in a lead role in product team owning one or multiple products, from business assessment, specs documentation, business priority to strategic product roadmap. Lead product team gathering, validating, documenting, troubleshooting and prioritizing product needs and asks by working closely with clients and client engagement teams on Analytic Partners’ industry leading software application suite, consisting of Data Management, Modeling, Decisioning and Dashboard capabilities. Architect, implement, test, support, and continuously deliver new features and products to our company and clients. Own product enhancements and delivery commitments for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with business teams and client engagement teams to understand the business problems and align on business needs. Oversee research and analysis to find the root causes of business challenges, identify business opportunities and make recommendations on how to achieve business goals and stay competitive. Create and update requirements documents that contains business problem, scope statement and use cases (i.e., Jira Stories and Epics). Work closely with software developers to deliver new and efficient short-term and long-term solutions. Provide product specific support to QAs, other BAs, technical writers, testers, and end users.

 

Reqts: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or related position. Alternatively, employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Technology Management, Computer Engineering, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the position offered or related. Must have 1 year of experience with: building technical products from ideation to launch; working with and influencing a product team of engineers in data analysis, making data-driven product decisions, and evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs; working in an Agile/Scrum product development environment and supporting process using JIRA; applying knowledge of SQL, JQL or other scripting language (R, Python, Excel or VBA Macros); and applying knowledge of Office 365 and BI tools including PowerBI or Tableau.  Salary: $171,000 - $181,000/year.
