Arch US MI Services, Inc., seeks QA Engineer III in Raleigh, NC.

Job Duties:                           

Test all software product changes, maintain quality assurance, and partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure products conform to desired quality standard. Analyze changes being made to UIs and come up with test plans using Cypress. Automate UI test cases where possible using Cypress. Use ReadyAPI to create functional and regression tests for Services/APIs. Follow enterprise standards and apply Agile methodologies to ensure highest quality of software features delivered in rapid and interactive deployments. Learn and maintain knowledge of the business applications for the products being tested. Follow software testing corporate standards. Keep stakeholders updated with testing status. Maintain test scenariosand test cases. Identify areas for automation and come up with plans to automate. Perform test planning activities as required. Create and modify automated test cases. Create and modify test data. Execute test cases and record results in Zephyr/HP ALM. Identify software defects. Create and manage assigned defects in Zephyr/HP ALM. Determine defect severity based upon corporate standards. Work with agile team and stakeholders to communicate defect information. Retest defect when issue has been resolved. Provide additional documentation to software engineers as required. Demonstrate test execution and results to stakeholders and team members.

Qualifications:                      

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus 9 years of experience in the job offered or related software testing position.

Must have:

  • 7 years of experience in functional testing of Services, API, UI and backend testing, E2E testing, performance testing including load, endurance, burst tests and security testing.
  • 5 years of experience working in Agile environment practicing Agile testing principles, continuous testing, working with developers, providing constant feedback, building automation scripts.
  • 5 years of experience in Ready API/SOAP UI.
  • 5 years of experience using Life Cycle Management software Zephyr or HP ALM.
  • 3 years of experience with SQL, and SQL tools to query database to retrieve data.
  • 3 years of experience with testing Web Applications, APIs and Web Service environments.
  • 2 years of experience in test scheduler tool Test Engine or similar.
  • 2 years of experience with testing practices involving File Transfer systems.
  • Experience testing with AS400 applications.
  • Experience using JIRA or similar agile tools.
  • Experience using Jenkins and other CI/CD tools.
  • Experience building automation scripts using automation framework.

Weekend and/or overtime required to support system validation activities. Hybrid work model position working 2 days in office with 3 days remote within normal commuting distance of the office location.
