The ideal candidate will have experience working in the manufacturing industry as well as cost accounting.Apply to learn more about this position!Description:• Collecting and analyzing data about a operational costs• Setting standard costs of manufactured goods• Developing and analyzing cost standards• Carrying out cost-volume-profit (CVP) analysis, including for small businesses• Establishing costs of business processes such as administration, labor, shipping, etc.• Performing account reconciliations• Preparing audit reports and presenting their findings to management• Recommending changes to the company’s processes and policies to reduce cost and maximize profit• Advising executives and upper management on appropriate costing based on financial data• Managing the company’s balance sheet and accounting books• Supporting other company accountants with invoicing and capital expenditureSkills• Cost accounting• Cost analysis• Bill of material• Variance analysis• SAP• JD Edwards• Inventory accountingRequirements:• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance• Cost Accounting experience• Manufacturing industry exposure• Highly proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, V Lookups, etc.)• Analytical mindsetPay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $48.00 - $48.00Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
