Aston Carter is hiring for a Dispatcher role in Ephrata, apply today!The Dispatcher provides communication with internal personnel and external customers regarding installation schedules, lead-time, and daily labor requirements for the installation of projects. This role involves handling the work scheduling and dispatching of installation crews, CDL A truck drivers, and mobile crane operators. The Dispatcher will be in frequent communication with builder customers to establish and maintain relationships.Responsibilities• Communicate with both internal personnel and external customers regarding the scheduling of Superior Walls installations.• Manage the schedule to maximize the use of employed and subcontracted installation crews.• Assign installation crews, truck drivers, and crane operators with daily work assignments.• Coordinate with subcontract crews, subcontract freight haulers, and subcontract crane operators to ensure daily schedules are met.• Coordinate directly with the Installation Manager to ensure the schedule aligns with staffing requirements.• Coordinate with the Production Scheduler and Plant Manager to ensure product production aligns with the installation schedule.• Work with Sales & Operations teams to facilitate order processing and scheduling.• Provide technical assistance and documentation to customers as necessary.• Assist the Installation Manager with the preparation of install documents, delivery directions, and communication with installation personnel.• Work directly with the Job Site Coordinator to ensure sites are verified prior to installation.• Provide reports on current and upcoming install schedules and product lead-time.Essential Skills• 2+ years of experience in dispatching or customer service within construction services, utilities, HVAC, or other service-based companies.• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.• Ability to multi-task and effectively work on multiple projects simultaneously.• Independent work and thinking abilities.• Proactive, detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and deadline-driven.• Problem-solving skills with the ability to recommend required actions.Additional Skills & Qualifications• Growth opportunity within the company• Experience in ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) environments.Work EnvironmentMonday to Friday, 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, with some flexibility required (earlier start time)Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00• Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)Workplace TypeThis is a fully onsite position in Ephrata,PA.Application DeadlineThis position will be accepting applications until Dec 16, 2024.About Aston Carter:Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
