As an Expanded Learning Program TK/K Instructor with Bay Area Community Resources (BACR), you will play a vital role in the lives of young children by designing and implementing a play-based curriculum that fosters creativity, excitement, and readiness for kindergarten and first grade. With a manageable ratio of 1:10, you will have the opportunity to create personalized connections with each student. We are searching for enthusiastic individuals who are committed to nurturing the emotional and intellectual growth of TK/Kinder children. You’ll enjoy a rewarding schedule of 35 hours a week, Monday through Friday, with program hours that vary by school site. Starting pay ranges from $20 to $24 per hour based on your experience and location. You’ll also benefit from eligibility for paid BACR holidays if you work over 20 hours a week, along with access to numerous benefits including medical insurance for those working 30+ hours, wellness programs, and a 403(b) plan. To qualify, a minimum of an Associate Degree or at least 48 college units is required, along with some ECE units. You’ll need a passion for working with young children, the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team, and of course, a clean background check.
