As a Senior Development Director, you will work closely with leadership and all disciplines to focus efforts on the most resonant game for our Players. In this role, you’ll take the product vision and translate it into an executable roadmap, and develop ways to drive the team forward.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Using your experience as a leader in game production, you’ll help the team maintain focus on delivering player value and provide leadership with great visibility into product progress and risks.  You’ll help the team relentlessly prioritize the most impactful features while ensuring alignment with product and business goals.  You’ll move teams towards predictability using a combination of process and relationship building, and keep a keen eye on product progress, risks and team health.  You’ll build lightweight processes in service of the player and product while flexing to let teams have room to tailor their processes for their own requirements.  You’ll provide a strong production voice for the leadership team to help maintain scope control and risk visibility, and push for places to make the game or team better; improving velocity, reducing risk, or shifting attention.

  • Maintain visibility for Product and Studio leadership on product progress, risks and team health, via structured process and organic conversations

  • Work with the Game Director, Studio Leadership, and Players to gather and document the goals the product must meet for its players

  • Develop and oversee communication systems to cascade clear priorities from Leadership to teams and build systems for making and reviewing commitments

  • Build and maintain overall product roadmap, including features and release for broad visibility across the organization

  • Help to create priorities from the cloud of goals that teams would like to deliver for players

  • Foster intrinsic motivation within teams to align them with product goals and processes

  • Leads production discipline, accountable for craft, resourcing and guidance for production support (focused on delivery leadership)

  • Support the creation, curation, and oversight of implementation of a multi-year audience focused strategy that will delight Players

You are a great fit if: 

  • 10+ years of experience as a leader (3-to-100+ people) in game development, with at least 2 delivered live titles

  • Proven track record of team scaling and leadership development

  • Experience shipping a game from prototype

What we offer:
