As the Senior Manager, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), you will play a crucial role in driving traffic and revenue to BestBuy.com by managing our organic search strategies with a strong focus on technical and local SEO work. Your main objective will be to develop and execute strategies that enhance our online presence and contribute to business growth. You’ll work within a close-knit, fast-paced team, making an impact at all levels of the business. A successful candidate will bring technical SEO expertise and a collaborative mindset and will find the role exciting for the opportunity to contribute to ambitious goals while having fun along the way.This role is hybrid, which means you will work some days on site at a Best Buy location and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process. For this role, you must be located within a drivable distance to our office in Richfield, Minnesota.What you’ll do• Deploy and execute BestBuy.com's technical SEO strategy, while contributing to broader organic search initiatives and solving enterprise-level SEO challenges at scale.• Understand business priorities, set SEO strategies across a diverse portfolio, and drive impactful business outcomes.• Develop strategies to drive traffic across the entire customer journey, from top to bottom of the sales funnel, within an eCommerce ecosystem.• Educate and influence stakeholders on SEO best practices, collaborating with internal and external partners to maintain and enhance a scalable SEO program.• Contribute to decision-making processes related to web experiences, resources, and timelines, ensuring alignment with SEO goals.• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of SEO professionals, setting clear goals and expectations, providing ongoing feedback and support, and facilitating professional development and training opportunities.Basic qualifications• 5 or more years of experience in SEO• 5 or more years of experience using common SEO tools (Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMrush, etc.)• 4 or more years of hands-on experience in technical SEO, with a track record of solving complex SEO problems at scale• 3 or more years of experience with SEO analysis (using tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, etc.)• 1 or more years of experience in local SEO• 1 or more years of experience in eCommerce, or a similar and large multi-channel environment• 1 or more years of experience leading and developing a team, with strong leadership and mentoring skillsPreferred qualifications• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field• 7 or more years of experience in SEO• Enterprise retail experience• Experience with Abode Analytics• Experience with BrightEdge and/or BotifyWhat’s in it for youWe’re committed to helping our people thrive at work and at home.
