International Tax Supervisor

As an International Tax Supervisor, you will be focused on relevant tax compliance activities for multinational corporate clients, including the preparation of Forms 5471, 8858 and 8865.  Prepare detailed earnings and profits analysis; foreign tax credit; Subpart F income; GILTI inclusion, previously taxed income; and foreign source income. Assist with international tax planning projects. Research tax issues for tax planning and compliance reporting and draft memoranda to support and document conclusions as well as assist with the preparation of certain tax modeling

In this role, you will get to:
  • Focus on international tax compliance as a high impact/value creating International Tax Supervisor

  • Review foreign income tax returns and prepare foreign information returns for the U.S. returns with respect to foreign entities (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865) to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with U.S. tax rules

  • Prepare and review work papers, allocations, and tax returns for multinational corporations

  • Manage multiple projects and collaborate with manager and team


For this role, you will:
  • Be an active member of a state bar or CPA certification/license with a minimum 4 years’ experience in public accounting, industry with an emphasis in International Tax and hold a bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Taxation and/or a JD or LLM.

  • Have experience with U.S. inclusions and reporting relative to non-US operations including E&P, GILTI, FDII, Subpart F, PFIC, and foreign tax credits.
 
  • Provide In-depth knowledge of rules related to PFIC, Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, foreign tax credits that also reflect your strong analytical and research skills.

$105,000 - $120,000 a year
$105,000 - $120,000/yr.
*The salary range provided is intended for candidates in the San Francisco Bay Area who meet the minimum requirements of the position.  Candidates who do not reside in the San Francisco Bay Area, do not meet the minimum requirements, or exceed the requirements are encouraged to apply and a recruiter will provide you with a range specific to your location and qualifications.
