The Business Development Manager role requires an experienced candidate with the ability to oversee and execute a broad range of projects including building and managing relationships with 3 core constituents – Ad Sales and Marketing, Partnerships with Associations, and independent sales representatives. As part of this candidate’s responsibilities will include developing strategic plans to create and sell content across all of FORTUNE’s platforms. Skills include, but are not limited to:

• Clear communication with team for each project.
• Highly motivated and energized to lead sales initiatives.
• Set Goals and objectives for each project.
• Develop sales/marketing materials for each project.
• Manage the sales process for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Solve problems quickly and easily during the sales process.
• Ideate and creatively grow existing business and build new revenue streams.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of social, mobile, and video
• Empowered to make decisions and manage projects independently
• Team focused and ready to help others.
• Deepen client relationships through strong communication and brand partnership.
• Knowledge of MS Office products, Salesforce, Constant Contact is a plus.
• Minimum 3-4 years of business experience (Manager role)
• Four-year college degree required.

Location:  NYC - Hybrid. Successful candidates must live a commutable distance from our Lower Manhattan headquarters a minimum of 1-2 days a week, as needed.

Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000

(Additional variable compensation will also be offered)
