The Role:


As a Business Development Representative, you will be the pipeline engine for outbound leads and will partner directly with Account Executives to help identify quality sales opportunities and grow new markets. You will also work with the Marketing team to build well thought-out marketing campaigns to increase sales pipeline growth. This role will report directly to our Sales Director.


The US base salary range for this full-time position is $61,020 - $81,360. Our base salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.


Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include commission/variable, equity, benefits, or discretionary bonus.


Responsibilities:


  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Productiv product and value proposition at all levels within organizations – Managers, Directors, VPs and C-Level
  • Develop, test and iterate messaging across multiple channels, industries and personas 
  • Contribute learnings and best practices to the Outbound process and team members to support the success of your peers
  • Weekly/regular communication and strategy with Account Executives to align on account and prospect strategy, partner and execute
  • Complete a high volume of daily calls/activities to generate meetings
  • Regular product training to understand how to build a strong sales muscle and perfect your pitch style
  • Problem solving and organizing multi-faceted strategies with a customer-first mindset


Requirements:


  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong outbounding experience 
  • 2+ year experience in cold-calling and sales/business development experience
  • Have excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced environment
  • Software/saas experience or other related tech space business experience
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, Outreach.io, or similar 
  • A skilled organizer and problem solver
  • A demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a team 
  • This role is required to be in our Palo Alto, CA office 3 days a week at the minimum
