Inside Sales Representative

As an Inside Sales Representative at Caseware, your goal will be to drive new, upsell and cross-sell sales of Caseware’sproduct suite with a focus on small and medium-sized clients within our US market. 

 

Your role will be focused on sales within the firm market segment and will be primarily selling our OnPoint suite of products to small firms and sole proprietors. This is a massive opportunity because our research is showing 100,000+ sole proprietors in the US market alone, and with our recent strategic partnership with CPA.com we expect huge support in marketing. 

 

We are going through a build-up of our Sales organization, and you will be a founding member of the future of Sales Operations at Caseware. (This role will be 50/50 split between inbound & outbound activities). ❗This role is remote and is open to all candidates who reside and are eligible to work in US (preferably on the East coast). 

❗Note, a successful candidate will work in North American time zones - EST, MT, PST (The time zone is TBD depending on the territory assigned).

What you will be doing:
  • Using prospecting solutions like ZoomInfo and LinkedIn to generate leads within a defined territory and region. 
  • Using sales and marketing assets to create email campaigns  
  • Given a list of contacts generated by marketing as well as existing inbound leads, contact our customers, address their needs, and introduce them to the full scope of the CaseWare product suite 
  • Qualifying inbound and outbound activities (calls and emails) 
  • Quickly and effectively establish key relationships with decision-makers within  sole practitioners to small firms 
  • Providing prospects with high-level solution overviews when required 
  • Provide advice and value guidance to CaseWare prospects maximizing opportunities to build and accelerate revenue 
  • Monitor sales goal set by CaseWare to increase product revenue 
  • Drive the business growth - meet and exceed monthly/quarterly revenue targets by prospecting, securing meetings, and closing new business 
  • Create and execute action plans to engage appropriate CaseWare cross-functional resources to contribute to sales and development strategy 
  • Assisting with marketing automation 
  • Other duties as required 


What you will bring:
  • 1+ years of experience in tech sales or in a comparable customer-facing role, ideally SaaS Sales (understanding and selling accounting software is a strong asset) 
  • Ability to query various sources such as Hubspot, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and LinkedIn Nav to identify opportunities  
  • Self-discipline, GSD mentality, and a strong desire to succeed 
  • Record of consistent achievement of goals 
  • A foundational understanding of technology sales, forecasting, and lead development processes 
  • A foundational understanding of accounting and financial processes and technologies 
  • Experience or understanding of sales, campaign, and marketing automation solutions 
  • Prior experience in inside sales, account management, client success, or client services  
  • Proven ability to manage and prioritize a high volume of daily tasks and leads   
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders 
  • Excellent discovery, listening and presentation abilities 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Experience mapping customer requirements, needs and goals to solution capabilities, benefits and outcomes  
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) 
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, business management, accounting, finance, or a related field 
  • Prior work in the audit and accounting technology industry is a plus 


Interview Process:
  • 30 minutes with TA Partner
  • 45 minutes with Hiring Manager (Director of Sales)
  • Take-home assignment: you will be asked to create a pitch deck (any software product)  
  • 60 min with Director of Sales/SVP of Sales to present and debrief
