Job Description

The Role

This position is responsible for coordinating the activities of local and national wholesale produce sales. Addressing the needs and insuring the satisfaction of our customers. This includes assigned customers, as well as, the accounts of other company salespersons.

Essential Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To

  • This role is ideal for a proactive, sales-driven professional who thrives on connecting with customers and passionate for Organic Sales  and Agriculture.
  • Manage high-level accounts after completion of introductory period.
  • Understand and have knowledge/ability to perform all office functions even if not under job description. (Booking freight, invoicing, assisting with RTGs, repack paperwork, checking receiving reports, solving discrepancies, etc.)
  • Understand all nuances of Coke Farm inventory.
  • Manage messages for other sales reps who are not available at the time for whomever calls in.
  • Ability to perform in a fast moving, competitive yet TEAM driven environment.
  • Ability to cover accounts for other sales reps in instances of customer visits, vacations, unplanned absences, etc.
  • Ability to communicate specific sales needs with other departments (Grower/Operations and Accounting)
  • Assist Sales (as needed) in all aspects of data entry including but not limited to; entering orders into system, allocation/sign off orders upon request, use of customer-specific portals, booking inspections, filling in necessary information needed for said inspections, etc.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 3-5 years in sales, ideally within agricultural or related sectors.
  • Experience with organic products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal customer service and communication skills, strong analytical skills to identify sales patterns and trends, advanced time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while completing time sensitive projects.
  • Strong communication skills; proficient in English and Spanish in both spoken and written
  • Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Office Platforms (i.e. googles sheets among others)
  • Produce experience desired.
  • Professional communication skills – written, verbal and interpersonal.
