Christian Brothers Automotive Murfreesboro - Memorial Blvd

Here is our shop in a nutshell:

1. We appreciate our Technicians, We do everything we can to help them do what they do best every day.  (I.E. Parts are delivered to our techs on arrival.) Techs are the backbone of our industry and should be appreciated and treated well. 

2. We have fun every day, We work hard, but we have fun and keep a family environment.

3. We have a good reputation because we care about our customers and our staff.  Our customers pay our bills so we make sure to take care of them with the best all around Guest Experience. 

4. We cook or order out as a team at least once a week.  I am a good cook and come up with some creative recipes. Everyone comes back for seconds. 

5. My door is always open and I am here every day.  I value my teams opinions and input.  We meet weekly to discuss how we can serve out guests better.  We are always looking to improve.  

6. We have an all-star crew already that is willing to help each other figure out tough problems. Of the 5 techs currently on our team there is a combined 140+ years of experience.  We haven't had a tech leave (other than go to another CBA) in over 5 years.

7. Our service advisors are 1st class and are specifically assigned to each tech so every tech always has someone to go to that knows whats going on.  Our Newest Service advisor has over 3 years of experience. 

8. This is more than a job for me, its personal. This is what I do, its's my blood, sweat, and tears. Over the last 21 years I have done every job in this shop. I started working for my father 17 years ago and bought the store when he retired 4 years ago. Since then our sales have continued to grow and now we rank in the top 10% of all CBA Locations. I care deeply about this business and its people. Our Manager, Tim, has also been here since we opened and shares my passion for this business. 

9. We are looking fora reliable individual, who takes pride in their work, Is able to diagnose drivability and under-car issues on all makes and models, make repairs with precision and care, and  who wants to be part of an A+ team.

Automotive Technician - A Level Tech 

Location:

Job Overview:

We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our guests.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
  • Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
  • Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
  • Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
  • Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
  • Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate  concerns 
  • Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
  • Excel at diagnostics and drive-ability problems.
  • ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
  • Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
  • Meet or exceed hourly goals
  • Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
  • Professional appearance and strong communication - willing to work in a customer centric, team-oriented atmosphere
  • Current driver’s license

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
  • Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
  • Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
  • Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
  • Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
  • Drive manual transmission vehicles
  • Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
  • Efficiently navigate a computer
