Overview: As a Safety Program Coordinator at CleanSpark, Inc., you will play a vital role in fostering a culture of safety, health, and environmental responsibility within the organization. In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operations of Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSI) programs. Your contribution will be critical in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, maintaining workplace safety standards, and supporting the company’s overall operational goals.  


Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support:  
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and documentation related to safety initiatives and HSI programs.  
  • Maintain confidential records, files, and databases related to safety management.  
  • HSI Program Administration:  
  • Manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSI system) policies and procedures.  
  • Support initiatives aimed at improving workplace safety and minimizing environmental impact.  
  • Serve as a liaison between the safety department and other departments to streamline HSI system activities.  
  • Training and Education:  
  • Organize, coordinate, and schedule safety training sessions, workshops, and orientations for employees. 
  • Maintain detailed records of training participation and ensure that certifications and training requirements are up to date. 
  • Develop training materials and resources.  
  • Incident Management:  
  • Manage reporting and documentation of workplace accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents.  
  • Conduct preliminary investigations of incidents to gather facts and support root cause analysis.  
  • Implement corrective actions and track progress toward resolution.  
  • Safety Inspections and Audits:  
  • Participate in routine safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.   
  • Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective or preventive measures.  
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure audit findings are addressed in a timely manner.  
  • Regulatory Compliance:  
  • Stay informed about federal, state, and local safety, health, and environmental regulations, including OSHA standards.  
  • Ensure that company practices align with legal requirements and industry best practices. 
  • Data Management and Reporting:  
  • Collect, compile, and analyze safety-related data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.  
  • Prepare detailed reports, dashboards, and summaries for senior management and stakeholders.  
  • Manage electronic systems and databases for tracking safety performance metrics.  
  • Collaboration and Communication:  
  • Act as a point of contact for employee safety concerns and inquiries.  
  • Foster open communication about safety across the organization.  
  • Participate in safety committee meetings and contribute to safety initiatives.  
  • Additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.  
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a safety administration or related role.  
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, workplace safety practices, and environmental compliance standards.  
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and safety management software systems.  
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.  
  • Preferred Qualifications:  
  • Experience in safety program development and training coordination.  
  • First Aid/CPR/AED certification.
