Responsibilities

In this nine-bed unit, you will have an RN-to-patient ratio of 1:2. Depending on the acuity of the patient, we often provide 1:1 care. You will be working closely with all multidisciplinary team members ranging from the physician, advanced practice professionals & Clinical Nurse Specialist, to respiratory therapy, physical therapy, case management, and pharmacy. You play an essential role in integrating this multidisciplinary approach into your patient’s care plan.   

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required.
  • Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency required.
  • RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
  • BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required.
  • Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 3 months of hire
