We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Content Marketing Manager to lead and execute our content initiatives. You’ll work on thought leadership, social media strategy, and the creation of content for account-based marketing (ABM) and integrated campaigns. In this role, you will be both a creator and a strategist, owning the content calendar, working closely with product marketing, brand, and sales teams, and setting the foundation for a scalable content function that can grow as the business expands.


You’ll also be responsible for high-impact assets such as decks for major events, ABM content, ad messaging, drip and nurture campaigns, and multi-channel campaigns. 


The ideal candidate will have experience in content creation and strategy, particularly for businesses that sell into the retail or travel sectors, and will be comfortable working at the intersection of content marketing, ABM, drip/nurture campaigns, and digital marketing.


Key Responsibilities
  • Thought Leadership & Event Content: Develop and execute a thought leadership strategy to position Cover Genius as a category leader in embedded insurance. Own the creation of high-quality white papers, blogs, industry reports, and occasional executive decks for major events and conferences.
  • ABM Content & Campaign Support: Collaborate with and advise product marketing and ABM teams to create highly targeted content for named accounts, including bespoke landing pages, personalized emails, and tailored content designed to drive engagement with key enterprise and mid-market accounts.
  • Ad Content & Messaging Strategy: Craft compelling ad copy, messaging frameworks, and content for integrated campaigns across digital channels, including display ads, LinkedIn campaigns, and sponsored content. Work with the digital marketing team to ensure alignment with campaign goals and KPIs.
  • Drip & Nurture Campaigns: Develop the content strategy and execution plan for drip and nurture email campaigns using HubSpot, ensuring content is timely, and aligned with the buyer’s journey to nurture leads through the funnel.
  • Social Media Strategy & Execution: Develop a content strategy for LinkedIn and other relevant channels, leveraging thought leadership content, industry insights, and timely product focused campaigns. Optimize social content for engagement and lead generation.
  • Website: Work directly with our heads of marketing, design and product marketing to build and optimize our B2B website.
  • Content Calendar & Cross-Functional Management: Own the content calendar and work closely with product marketing, brand, sales, and digital teams to ensure cohesive, timely content delivery. Align content production with broader go-to-market (GTM) strategies and product launches.
  • SEO & Digital Content Optimization: Ensure all content is optimized for search and SEO best practices, and collaborate with the digital team to maximize the discoverability and performance of blog posts, landing pages, and other online assets.
  • Analytics & Content Performance: Use analytics to track content performance, provide insights into what’s working, and iterate based on data. Report on the impact of content efforts on engagement, leads, and brand perception.
