The role


In this role within the UX Content team, you'll be responsible for leading the TLM and Platform content development & strategy. You will work cross-functionally with UX writers, UX designers, Product Engineering, and other stakeholders to ensure our content is easy to use, easy to understand, and easy to find.

 

About you


As a Technical Content Manager within the UX Content team, you will be responsible for planning, execution, and measurement of the entire TLM and Platform content. You will work closely with the UX writers and collaborate with various teams and PMs to build a solid content strategy and create content that enhances the customer experience.

You have outstanding people management skills, and a demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality technical content. You are data-driven, strategic, and a solid content writer/content strategist with technical background. The ideal candidate will also reflect our company values in their approach to the work.

 

What you will do


  • Collaborate with product stakeholders to assess content (UX and Documentation) requirements and drive content innovation while ensuring consistency among processes and expectations.
  • Manage a small team of UX writers, including coordination of day-to-day activities.
  • Assist with the editing, authoring, and publishing of technical content.
  • Develop a content strategy that provides the right information at the right time, based on customer data.
  • Work with the team to build and refine processes to ensure product content is complete, accurate, and accessible.
  • Use data analytics and customer insights to monitor our content performance and to drive content decisions and strategies.
  • Develop a content strategy that provides the right information at the tight time.
  • Partner with engineering teams to ensure content is up to date and relevant, and is solution based to help customers accomplish their goals.

 

What you will have


  • 3+ years of project management experience.
  • 7+ years of technical writing experience in the software industry.
  • Demonstrated people management experience of a content development team.
  • Excellent planning, coordination, and time management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written, across all levels of the organization with a proven ability to influence others.
  • Experience defining, measuring, and being accountable for key metrics and performance indicators around the effectiveness of content.
  • Experience creating clear, accurate, and accessible documentation for a technical audience.
  • Good research and analytical skills to be able to gather, understand, and interpret new technically complex information.
  • Deep understanding of the software development life cycle and other engineering practices.
  • Experience using Confluence, Jira, and content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
