As the North America Strategic Platforms Leader at DuPont, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in strategic marketing, product development, and business development to help shape the future of our Shelter Solutions Line of business.

What You'll Do:

In this pivotal role, you will craft growth initiatives based "Where to Play" and "How to Win" within the NA region. You will collaborate across various teams and engage with senior leadership to ensure alignment with our broader organizational goals while addressing the key challenges and needs of our customers in the evolving built environment.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Crafting Regional Growth Platforms: Lead the development of strategic growth initiatives that align with our business strategy, using a thorough market assessment to prioritize product development efforts.
• Shaping Market Understanding: Analyze macro-trends in the construction industry—such as energy efficiency, labor productivity and material resiliency—to optimize our portfolio for sustainable business growth.
• Driving Market Discovery: Conduct comprehensive research to identify high-value challenges faced by customers and articulate solutions across various construction segments.
• Innovating Products and Services: Collaborate with commercial, technical, and product teams to propose optimal portfolios, product development prioritization, business models and partners, economic impact and feasibility.
• Engaging Leadership: Foster collaboration with senior stakeholders to ensure that project initiatives align with organizational strategic priorities.
• Leading Innovation Processes: Guide project teams through the innovation journey, ensuring the successful launch of new products and related portfolios that meet regional growth goals.
• Research and Insights: Conduct detailed market research to support growth strategies and new product initiatives.

What We Are Looking For:

We want leaders who are not only skilled but also passionate about winning, innovation and team collaboration. Here are the qualifications we seek:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in marketing, or technical field with relevant entrepreneurship/business development course work
• A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in a B2B product marketing, strategy, or new product development, particularly leading within cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience in marketing or business development in the construction industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Proven ability to lead innovation projects, conduct customer insights activities, and successfully test and launch new products.
• Expertise in market assessments, including competitive landscape, utilizing advanced analytics/tools to provide critical insights for strategic recommendations.
• Familiarity with innovation best practices, including lean startup methodologies, Jobs-to-be-Done, and business model canvas frameworks.
• Experience in startups, scale-ups, or corporate venturing within high-tech environments.
• A comfort with uncertainty and a results-driven mindset.
