We’re looking for a Motion Designer to join our expanding Creative team, working primarily on one of our mobile gaming clients.

We are looking for someone passionate about motion design. You will be working with one of the biggest gaming companies in the World. Therefore you must have a passion and interest in gaming.

You need to be ambitious and ready to work in a fast-paced environment and you must be an excellent team player.

You'll be a solid midweight Motion Creative, who's able to both work independently and with a range of different client stakeholders. You're calm under pressure, mature in difficult situations, and a problem solver both in your work and when work isn't going to plan. In short you're a professional grown up - excellent at your craft, and a solid team player for what will be an expansive team.

Essential Skills:

  • Comprehensive Adobe Creative Suite experience – advanced use of Photoshop, Illustrator, After-Effect and Premier Pro as a minimum. Cinema 4D & Blender are also a benefit but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in a digital creative environment (minimum 3 years) – clearly understand the landscape, and can talk consultatively to clients about challenges and opportunities
  • Experience with character animation is a must
  • Art theory basics is a requirement i.e.: composition and colour theory
  • A strong portfolio, with examples of great 2D animation/motion graphic executions across a number of different channels
  • Excellent skills in the Adobe package, with an emphasis on After Effects
  • Excellent skills in storytelling and editing
  • A love and understanding of mobile games, and gaming culture
  • Client facing - you must have experience consulting and working with clients directly
  • Great attention to detail - quality controlling content to ensure it is consistent in style, quality, and tone, ensuring all work leaving the Production department is of the highest standard possible, continuously reviewing work, and striving to improve the quality of creative work in the agency
  • A standout creative who can adapt quickly to business needs
  • Experience motivating creatives working alongside them
  • You will be a natural collaborator – facilitating and improving lines of communication within the Production team and other departments, and client stakeholders. You will have a proven ability to explain your creative thinking, and guide stakeholder decisions
  • You will be curious – constantly keeping up to date on latest trends, innovations and progression in design. You will gather and absorb as many inspiring and creative ideas as you can and share with your team, the agency and clients. What’s new and exciting in our industry?
