Here’s the opportunity: Bilingual Communications & Content Coordinator

As a Bilingual Communications & Content Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our Communications & Content team, part of Futurpreneur’s Marketing & Communications team. You will assist in the execution, and monitoring of Futurpreneur’s overall communications initiatives, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.

Reporting to the Communications & Content Manager, you'll coordinate a variety of projects ranging from initiatives linked to owned, earned and paid channels, including but not limited to the website, the blog and our social channels, to collaborating on the development and the rollout of the content plan, while adhering to Futurpreneur's brand guidelines and standards. This position is perfect for a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a knack for prioritizing actions that drive growth.

This is a permanent full-time position, based in our Toronto or Montreal office, operating under a hybrid work model (minimum 2 days in the office per week). 

What you will do:

Support on Comms & Content – 60%

  • Assist in developing and executing internal and external communications initiatives, including but not limited to blog articles, social posts ad copy and other kinds of content, under the guidance of the Communications & Content Manager for the organization, regional teams, Core Startup Program, Indigenous Entrepreneur Startup Program, Black Entrepreneur Startup Program, and Side Hustle Program, as well as Programs and Partnerships.
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations, executional support across projects and ad-hoc requests from interdepartmental teams. 
  • Coordinate assets, including the production and versioning of internal and external documents such as promotional packages, resources, stakeholder remarks and visual assets.
  • Work closely with the Social Media Specialist on developing a content calendar and coordinating the production of social posts across our channels.
  • Assist in moderating and responding to comments on our social channels, adhering to our brand guidelines and values.
  • Handle administrative duties such as, maintaining communication, awareness periods and content calendars and coordinating with external agencies or suppliers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Marketing support – 40%

  • Assist the MarCom team using tools such as Canva, Sprout Social and Monday.com.
  • Review French and English drafts, ensuring they adhere to the organization’s tone of voice, style and editorial guidelines.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and recommend innovative solutions as needed.

What you will have:  

  • Relevant experience may include education with a focus in marketing, communications or equivalent hands-on career experience.
  • At least two years’ experience in communications.
  • Client or agency-side experience with non-profits, entrepreneurship, financing and/or banking considered an asset.
  • Digital fluency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Canva, various social media platforms and Monday.com. Experience with CRM platforms, WordPress, AI Platforms and social media would be considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated creativity and proficiency in creative writing, storytelling and visual assets production including images and videos.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail. You will be required to work daily with non-bilingual team members and/or clients across Canada and at head office in Toronto.
  • Self-starter and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and project coordination skills.
  • Creative and innovative problem-solver with a can-do attitude to improve and learn.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team. 
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.

En quoi consiste cette offre d’emploi : Coordonnateur.trice bilingue des communications et du contenu

En tant que Coordonnateur.trice bilingue des communications et du contenu, vous jouerez un rôle clé en soutenant notre équipe des communications et du contenu, qui fait partie de l’équipe marketing et communications de Futurpreneur. Vous assisterez à la planification, à l'exécution et à la surveillance des campagnes et initiatives marketing de Futurpreneur, en veillant à leur alignement avec nos objectifs stratégiques.

Sous la supervision du responsable des Communications et du Contenu, dans ce rôle multifacette, vous coordonnerez divers projets, allant des supports promotionnels aux événements, tout en respectant strictement les lignes directrices et normes de la marque Futurpreneur. Cette position est parfaite pour un.e autodidacte ayant une expérience marketing avérée et une passion pour l'innovation et le changement.

Il s'agit d'un poste permanent à temps plein, basé dans nos bureaux de Toronto ou de Montréal, fonctionnant selon un modèle de travail hybride (minimum 2 jours au bureau par semaine).

Ce que vous ferez :

Soutien en communications et contenu – 60%

  • Contribuer à l'élaboration et à la mise en œuvre d'initiatives de communication internes et externes, incluant, sans s'y limiter, des articles de blog, des publications sur les réseaux sociaux, des textes publicitaires et d'autres types de contenu, sous la supervision du responsable des Communications et du Contenu pour l'organisation, les équipes régionales, le Programme de démarrage, le Programme de démarrage pour entrepreneur.e.s autochtones, le Programme de démarrage pour entrepreneur.e.s noir.e.s, et le Programme pour les flexipreneur.e.s.
  •  Coordonner les opérations quotidiennes, le soutien opérationnel à travers les projets et les demandes ad-hoc des équipes interdépartementales.
  •  Coordonner les ressources, incluant la production et la mise à jour des documents internes et externes tels que les packages promotionnels, les allocutions des parties prenantes et les ressources visuelles.
  •  Travailler en étroite collaboration avec la Spécialiste des médias sociaux pour développer un calendrier de contenu et coordonner la production de publications sur nos différents canaux.
  • Modérer et répondre aux commentaires sur nos réseaux sociaux, en respectant nos lignes directrices et nos valeurs de marque.
  • Effectuer des tâches administratives telles que la gestion des calendriers de communication, des périodes de sensibilisation et des contenus, ainsi que la coordination avec des agences externes ou des fournisseurs afin de garantir que les projets soient réalisés dans les délais et respectent le budget.

Soutien Marketing – 40%

  • Assister l'équipe du marketing en utilisant des outils tels que Canva, Sprout social, et Monday.com.
  • Réviser les versions française et anglaise, en veillant à ce qu'elles respectent le ton,le style et le guide de normes de l'organisation.
  • Rester à l’affût des tendances du secteur, des meilleures pratiques, et recommander des solutions innovantes si nécessaire.

Ce que vous offrez : 

  • Formation pertinente en marketing, communications, ou expérience professionnelle équivalente.
  • Au moins deux ans d'expérience en communications.
  • Une expérience côté client ou en agence dans les domaines des organisations à but non lucratif, de l'entrepreneuriat, du financement et/ou de la banque sera considérée comme un atout.
  • Maîtrise des outils numériques, notamment Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Teams, Canva, les différents médias sociaux et Monday.com. Expérience avec des plateformes CRM, WordPress, plateformes IA et les médias sociaux sera considérée comme un atout.
  • Créativité éprouvée et compétence en rédaction, storytelling et production de visuels images et vidéos.
  • Maîtrise de l'anglais et du français avec d'excellentes compétences de communication écrite et orale, et un sens aigu du détail. Vous devrez travailler quotidiennement avec des membres de l'équipe et/ou des clients non bilingues à travers le Canada et au siège social à Toronto.
