As FWD’s Special Projects Manager, you’ll help drive FWD’s growth by leading key marketing initiatives, supporting business development, and managing high-impact projects. This versatile role blends project management and strategic thinking as you produce compelling content and work closely with founders to support key relationships. You’ll play a crucial role in advancing FWD’s goals in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
Marketing (40%)
Act as the producer and manager of FWD's social media content to elevate brand visibility.
Develop and maintain a robust content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant social media presence.
Identify and secure conference opportunities to ensure consistent industry visibility.
Coordinate and prepare all necessary materials for leadership’s participation in conferences.
Lead award submission efforts to enhance FWD’s recognition in the industry.
Manage Case Study development and library.
Strategically contribute to raising FWD’s profile by managing key initiatives, such as website updates, thought leadership content, PR coordination, etc.
Business Development (20%)
Help founders streamline business development efforts, by prioritizing and managing key opportunities, ensuring timely follow-ups and organized action steps.
Organize and assist in tracking leads, partnerships, and potential projects, making it easier for the founders to focus on high-impact business development.
Executive Assistance (20%)
Provide expert calendar management, travel arrangements, and operational support to the Co-Founders.
Assist leadership in business development efforts by managing active, warm, and cold leads to drive growth and support key client relationships as needed.
Special Projects (20%)
Project manage and lead high-impact initiatives on behalf of the founders, ensuring successful execution and alignment with FWD’s strategic goals.
What You’ll Bring:
You'll bring 5+ years of experience in a similar agency and/or project management role, with a proven track record of driving high-value, fast-paced projects to success. You thrive in cross-functional settings, leading teams with energy and inspiring excellence in execution.
You're a natural leader and relationship builder. You develop and nurture strong relationships and ensure project objectives are met with efficiency, creativity and strategic alignment.
You’re proactive in supporting business growth, whether by identifying new opportunities or supporting existing ones.
Your written and verbal communication is clear and concise across all mediums—internally and externally. You know how to present ideas effectively, both in writing and in presentations.
You work well under pressure and are an expert at being able to self-manage expectations and deliver across projects.
You embody a self-motivated positive attitude and collaborative nature, with the ability to adapt to new situations, think on your feet, and communicate openly and proactively with those around you.

The salary range for this role is $90,000 - $110,000 with a preference for contract-to-permanent candidates to ensure a mutual fit. However, full-time candidates are also welcome and encouraged to apply. This role is based in NYC (Brooklyn) with a flexible hybrid work schedule.
