We're seeking a passionate and visionary Marketing & Communications Manager to help lead and inspire our talented marketing team. As the Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll oversee all aspects of our branding, messaging, and promotional activities. This includes developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns, crafting compelling brand stories, and aligning diverse team capabilities for a cohesive strategy. The role also involves developing and managing processes to create greater team efficiency. A strong understanding of industry trends and best practices is needed, as well as creativity, innovation, and excellent leadership and communication skills. Your Day-to-Day
■ Manages Galloway’s digital and promotions teams, including mentoring team members, providing feedback, and setting performance goals. Understands workloads and delegates accordingly.
■ Manages the execution of projects and strategic initiatives around brand management, internal and external communications, client journeys, advertising, and conference involvement.
■ Helps create compelling marketing campaigns and drives campaign management across multiple channels.
■ Identifies opportunities to develop effective messaging strategies, and oversees strategy implementation.
■ Assists Director of Marketing & Communications in marketing plan development and execution.
■ Ensures quality, messaging, and voice consistency across all marketing channels.
■ Manages the design and creation of collateral for company-wide and/or marketing team use. Identifies deficiencies in standards and makes recommendations for improvement.
■ Analyzes spending and assesses ROI for promotional activities.
■ May perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
■ Great team player, with ability to work well with a variety of personalities.
■ Advanced understanding of various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices.
■ Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
■ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
■ Highly detail oriented.
■ Advanced knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop.
■ Advanced understanding of branding and corporate messaging.
■ Self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
■ Graphics capabilities are a plus!
Education/Licensure
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study; or equivalent experience through career progression. CPSM certification is desirable.
Years of Experience
10+ years of experience in external and internal communications, including branding, messaging, promotional activities, and campaigns. Minimum one year of supervisory experience within a marketing team.
The estimated starting base salary for this role is $95,000-$115,000.
