Job Description

We are looking for a creative and passionate 2D Artist at the Middle or Senior level to join our team. As a member of our art team, you will be actively engaged in the exciting process of game development, contributing to the creation of unique and captivating concept art for Disney Dreamlight Valley. This is an opportunity to bring environment, characters, clothing, and props to life in a beloved and vibrant game world.

Project: Disney Dreamlight Valley

Directions of professional activity: concept art (props, environment, clothing, accessories, characters), promo art.

Qualifications

  • Superior eye for light, value, color, composition and anatomy;
  • Proven concept art/concept design skills;
  • Good knowledge of cartoonish art style and ability to work with it;
  • Basic experience with 3D tools (basic 3d blocking at a concept stage, scene composing, lighting, rendering)
  • Creativity, ability both to provide and realize original and fresh ideas;
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to independently handle complex tasks;
  • Flexibility (personal & professional);
  • Willingness to work as a part of team (feedbacks, collaboration, deadlines, priorities);
  • Passion for video games.

Will be a plus:

  • Advanced knowledge of 3D;
  • Professional education (Fine Arts / Design);
  • Understanding of mobile games market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concept Art Creation: Design high-quality concept art for clothing, accessories, characters, creatures, and props that align with the project’s artistic vision.
  • Promo Art Creation: Produce visually compelling promotional artwork that represents the project’s style and enhances its marketability.
  • Collaborate with 3D Artists: Work closely with 3D artists by preparing detailed concepts for modeling, providing feedback, and ensuring a smooth translation from 2D to 3D.
  • Visual Development: Contribute to the overall visual style and aesthetic of the project, ensuring consistency and high quality across all art assets.
  • Problem Solving: Develop original and innovative ideas, addressing complex artistic challenges independently and within team collaboration.
