About Morty

Morty is a mortgage platform that empowers loan officers and mortgage brokerages to build their own businesses under their own brand. Leveraging the technology and infrastructure we built as a DTC mortgage broker, we remove the complexity and cost of running a mortgage business while providing the tools to help our partners grow and increase profits.

Who We’re Looking For
Morty is looking for a Brand Designer to create compelling, visually-driven content that powers our multi-channel marketing efforts. This role is perfect for a creative thinker who thrives at the intersection of design, storytelling, and strategy. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to develop assets that drive engagement, enhance brand storytelling, and support growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Content Creation: Develop high-quality digital assets for web, email, social media, paid ads, presentations, and other marketing materials.
  • Campaign Support: Bring creative concepts to life for major marketing campaigns, ensuring strong visual execution across all platforms.
    Brand Consistency & Evolution: Uphold and refine Morty’s visual identity, ensuring a cohesive brand experience across all content.
    Storytelling & Accessibility: Translate complex mortgage and fintech concepts into engaging, digestible visual content.
  • Innovation & Trends: Stay ahead of emerging content and design trends to integrate fresh, high-impact creative formats.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with teams across marketing, sales, and product to develop assets that align with business objectives.

Job Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of professional experience in marketing design, brand design, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating command of typography, layout, color, and digital design principles.
  • Excellent storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor designs for different audiences and platforms.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for design systems and brand evolution.
  • Bonus: Experience with content management systems or WordPress
  • Bonus: Experience in SaaS, tech, finance, or real estate.
  • Bonus: Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, After Effects)
