Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse II is responsible and accountable for prescribing, delegating and coordinating all nursing care to assigned patients. Utilizes the nursing process and the Relationship Based Care Nursing Model in delivering nursing care. Assumes an active role in delegation, critical thinking and shared decision-making. Participates in continuous quality improvement initiatives. Communicates and collaborates with others to achieve desired patient care outcomes. Provides patient and family education. Provides leadership to other members of the patient care team.

 

Hours are Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm no weekends/holidays. Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) is preferred. Will need to be flexibile in traveling to Lake Huron Medical Center as needed. 

Qualifications

Education and Work Experience1. Graduate of an approved school of nursing.2. Current licensure in the State of Michigan 3. Current BLS required; ACLS is required if working in OR, Emergency Department or any Critical Care Unit 4. Unit-specific credentials may be required to be achieved within a specified time frame after hire and maintained.
