Essential Responsibilities
The test engineer will have to work with the Test Leader/CTHs and the rest of the team in the following activities:
Engine/Component and rig preparation, instrumentation and assembly in the build shop
Definition of test architecture
Quotation and planning of the test
Test cell upgrade working in synergy with Experimental Facilities team and suppliers
Test cell set up and preparation
Collect the test requirement and concurrence and review of the test request
Guarantee execution of rig preparation and test meeting
Execute test and validate data
Guarantee the targets in terms of safety, quality, schedule and costs
Coordinate the team that will operate in the build shop and test cell ensuring all activities are in accordance with targets agreed upon and configuration standards required.
Perform the activities following the rationalization and standardization of test methods with the aim of improving efficiency and effectiveness
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautics or Mechanical Engineering
Knowledge in one or more of the following disciplines: control electrical systems, data acquisition systems, measurement system, main type of sensors instrumentation, mechanical drawings, general plant services
Familiarity with mechanical components, assembly procedures, build shop activities and component and engine design
Some background in EHS topic (worker safety, waste managing, etc.)
Availability for three shift work, if needed
Availability to business travel
Attitude/willingness to lead cross functional and multicultural teams
Fluent Italian and English
Work Visa, in accordance with local regulation, is required

Strong oral and written communication skills
Background of the engine and component test cells
Some background of development build shop activities and inspections
Project management skills to plan and monitor the activities in terms of schedule and costs
Availability to work in different test cells and different sites
Capability of troubleshooting and problem solving
Experience in leading cross functional and multicultural teams
