Manual QA Engineer, Mobile SDK

We are looking for a mid-level QA Engineer to join our SDK team, focusing on ensuring the highest quality of our mobile advertising SDKs across iOS and Android. As a member of our SDK team, you will play a crucial role in enabling gaming application developers to earn money hrough advertising revenue. This role is perfect for individuals passionate about technology, eager to learn, and looking to make a significant impact in the mobile advertising ecosystem.

Key Skills and Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in a QA role.
• Good understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes like Git, XCode,
• Android Development Studio, shell scripts and terminal, linux/macos experience,
• Network Proxy tools like Charles Proxy etc.
• Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS and Android) and testing frameworks
• Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Good written and spoken English (all documentation is written in English).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Web and mobile testing
• Functional testing - Regression, Smoke, Ad-hoc, Testing of positive and negative
• scenarios
• Cross-browser, cross-platform testing
• Non- functional testing - Analytics testing, accessibility, deep link testing, UI testing
• Backend testing using Postman, Charles
• Experience in web debugging proxy using Charles
• Maintaining the bug cycle, bug verification, and closure of the assigned testing tasks
• Reporting software bugs and interacting with developers to resolve technical issues.
• Designing test cases based on functional specifications.
• Flexible and able to work with multiple priorities and collaboratively with the Development, Business and QA team in Agile Environment.
• Flexible and willing to adjust to operational pressures, often at short notice.
• Good knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Good knowledge of the Test Design Techniques and ability to use them on a real project
• Good knowledge of Development methodologies
• Knowledge of SQL
• API testing using Postman

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the development team to identify, report, and track defects across our mobile advertising SDKs
• Assist in the development and execution of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for both Android and iOS platforms
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle to ensure quality from the initial design to final release
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process
• Utilize various testing tools and methodologies to ensure the reliability and performance of our SDKs
• Engage in continuous learning and development to stay abreast of the latest testing tools and methodologies
