Location: Oxford, Cambridge or London ~ hybrid working with a blend of 20-40% in office

A Day in the Life

The Commercial & Operations Analyst will be a key contributor to the operational efficiency and commercial success of Genomics. In this role, you will take on a diverse range of responsibilities, providing oversight and support across critical areas such as sales operations, resource management, and process optimisation. 

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to actively participate in strategic planning initiatives, helping to shape the direction and growth of the business. This position offers a unique blend of operational involvement and strategic impact, making it a vital part of the team’s success.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support

  • Create presentations, proposals, and materials for customer meetings.

  • Manage CRM systems, assign leads, and generate reports.

  • Maintain sales tools and provide competitive intelligence.

Operational Excellence

  • Track resource utilisation and ensure optimal staffing.

  • Collaborate with project leads to meet resource demands.

  • Monitor KPIs, identify gaps, and improve processes.

Strategic Planning

  • Support senior leadership with commercial and operational strategies.

  • Conduct market research to uncover trends and opportunities.

  • Contribute to pricing and competitive market positioning.

Collaboration

  • Align teams and streamline communication.

  • Facilitate cross-department coordination to achieve goals.
