Production Assembler

General Summary:

Assemble box assemblies for TH and FP units.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Review order for box type and size.

  • Review orders for correct options, and insulation type.

  • Selects proper tools & equipment for tasks.

  • Check quality of previous work on parts received.

  • Assemble unit with either screws or using the lock form method.

  • Make sure quantity matches work order.

  • Distribute boxes down conveyor line to next station.

  • Maintain daily housekeeping.

  • Perform other duties, as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or GED is desirable but not required.

  • Mechanical Aptitude

  • Basic Math Skills

  • Ability to read and use Tape Measure

  • Able to work with minimum supervision.

  • Quality Conscious

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. on a routine basis.

  • Standing for a minimum of 8 hours per day

  • Continuous lifting, kneeling, pulling, bending, etc.

Details:

  • 7am-3:30pm

  • Monday to Friday

  • 40 hours weeks

  • Location: Marion, NC
