To cut to the chase, here are the character traits we’re looking for:

  • A proven track record of excelling in your previous experiences, whether academic, professional, or personal.

  • A tenacity that drives you to manoeuvre past roadblocks wherever they appear

  • Exceptional work ethic with an ambition to make an impactful change and a meaningful contribution.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with many personality types.

  • Meticulous attention to detail, consistently producing high-quality, error-free work.

If this sounds like you, we’re interested in you for this role.

What is a Sales Coordinator at Baseline?

The Sales Coordinator role at Baseline focuses on building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring their success. Your primary responsibility will be to support the CEO and Founder by managing administrative sales tasks and coordinating sales activities. Our clients are operators of private credit businesses in the U.S., specializing in real estate-secured loans for investors and developers.

The majority of your time as a Sales Coordinator will be spent in these areas:

  • Participate and actively listen in sales demo calls to understand prospect needs.

  • Send personalized and detailed follow-up emails after each call to maintain momentum.

  • Log comprehensive notes about prospects in the CRM to ensure a seamless handoff to the onboarding team for a tailored experience.

  • Regularly update and move prospects through the sales pipeline based on their progress.

  • Consistently maintain a regular cadence of follow-ups with prospects to nurture leads effectively.

  • Regularly clean and update CRM data by merging duplicates, removing junk entries, and updating contact information as needed.

  • Enroll new contacts in marketing campaigns and track engagement to identify opportunities for timely and strategic follow-ups.

  • Send account-based outbound emails and LinkedIn messages to connect with prospects and decision-makers.

  • Assist with tasks such as onboarding new clients, preparing for conferences and events, and coordinating client gifts.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience with a proven record of achievement in academics, work, or personal projects.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience, potentially in an administrative or sales focused role.

  • Exemplary writing and communication skills: with the ability to craft clear, professional correspondence.

  • Self-driven and motivated: Takes initiative and demonstrates a proactive approach to responsibilities.

  • Proactive, organized, and self-motivated with a collaborative mindset.

  • Creative problem-solver with eagerness to perform at a high level while contributing to continued success.

  • Adaptable to new tools and technologies, including CRMs and analytics platforms; familiarity is a plus.

  • Interest in leveraging data insights for business success.

  • Agile and responsive, with a high sense of urgency.

  • Exposure to private lending, financial services, or real estate is an asset.

  • In-office commitment: Must be available to work in person, five days a week.

But here’s what’s in it for you:

  • An opportunity to directly enter the Baseline team of an extremely fast-growing B2B SaaS company without any prior relevant work experience, based upon your skills and character.

  • An unmatched career accelerant, providing you with hands-on experience in supporting and executing key administrative sales tasks that drive our success

  • The ability to see the tangible impacts on the overall success of the Baseline business, based directly on your efforts, and the associated sense of purpose and meaning in your work that delivers.

  • An opportunity to work on, give input to, and learn about the entire operating methodologies of a fast-growing SaaS startup.

  • Massively increased earning potential due to the skills and experience you will develop in this role, both inside and outside of Baseline.

  • Empathetic and devoted leadership, coaching and mentoring from the CEO and Founder.

  • An equity stake that gives you significant skin in the game for the 10-year vision of the Baseline business.

  • A comprehensive benefits package including 100% medical, dental, drug, paramedical and vision coverage up to generous maximums.

  • A creative, fun and aspirational work environment.
