Please note that by applying & completing our interview process, you will be added to our talent pool. This means you’ll be considered for this and all other possible roles that may match your skills. These potential opportunities will be sent your way as an exclusive Huzzle candidate.

About the Company
Our client is a leading data analytics firm that powers premier rankings and workplace award lists across industries. Known for partnering with major media brands like Newsweek and USA TODAY, they offer trusted, high-visibility research that helps organizations showcase achievements through prestigious recognitions such as "America's Greatest Workplaces." Their insights are data-backed, media-integrated, and built to help companies stand out.

Job Summary
We’re seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to lead outbound and inbound email communications across award and rankings campaigns. You'll coordinate closely with the sales team to ensure messaging aligns with embargoes, licensing timelines, and campaign goals. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under deadlines, crafts clear and compelling messaging, and brings structure to high-volume outreach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule email campaigns across all workplace award programs.
  • Build structured email sequences for outreach, follow-ups, and campaign completions.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to align email cadences with launch dates, embargoes, and deal timelines.
  • Draft, edit, and A/B test email templates tailored to audience and objective.
  • Manage opt-outs, reminders, and segmentations in marketing platforms.
  • Ensure all copy is clear, concise, and compelling—human-first, not robot-written.
  • Monitor key email metrics (open rate, click-throughs, replies) and adjust strategies for optimization.
  • Minimum 1 year of full-time, hands-on experience in email marketing.
  • Native English speaker with excellent writing and editing skills.
  • Proven experience planning, writing, and managing end-to-end email campaigns—not just supporting sales or sending newsletters.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with email marketing tools such as Mailchimp or HubSpot.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for tracking and reporting.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications, or Marketing.
  • Ability to adapt messaging per audience and campaign timeline.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with A/B testing and email campaign optimization.
  • Knowledge of marketing automation workflows and opt-out flows.
  • Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator).
  • Background in B2B marketing, data-driven campaigns, or media/awards publishing.
