This is a full-time role with one of our partner companies. You’ll be part of their internal team, working closely with both sales and marketing stakeholders to drive pipeline growth.

Your Role as a Sales Development Representative:

  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage qualified leads through email, cold calls, LinkedIn, and personalized outreach.
  • Sales & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, targeting, and messaging to improve lead quality and conversion rates.
  • CRM & Tool Proficiency: Manage data and interactions using platforms like HubSpot, Salesforce, or Apollo.
  • Meeting Booking: Schedule discovery and sales meetings for AEs and manage calendar logistics.
  • Lead Qualification: Understand ICP and buyer personas to qualify leads based on firmographics, behavior, and engagement.
  • Campaign Optimization: Provide feedback on messaging, targeting, and audience segments to help refine outreach strategies.
  • Market Research: Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and customer pain points to inform outreach.

  • Minimum of 1+ years experience in a Sales Development or Business Development role
  • Solid understanding of B2B marketing principles, including demand generation, lead nurturing, and lead scoring
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales engagement platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo)
  • Experienced in taking high call volumes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional tone and persuasive messaging
  • Familiarity with modern outbound tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Outreach, or similar
  • Highly organized, coachable, and self-motivated, with a proactive approach to prospecting and pipeline building
  • Prior experience working with companies in industries like:
    • Digital marketing agencies
    • MarTech, Tech or SaaS platforms
    • Creative services or advertising
    • B2B professional services or tech startups

💰 Competitive Salary: Base salary ranging from 21,000 to 28,000 ZAR per month.
