Our client is a fast-growing $3M seed-funded B2B SaaS startup revolutionizing how event professionals source and book venues. Their platform streamlines and simplifies event booking management in real time for event planners, hospitality professionals, and DMOs. Their platform is also used by 150K+ hotels including industry leaders such as Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt.

Job Description

You will bring a lot of outbound activity to the table. This is all about volume.

The Sales Development Representative will execute the full sales life cycle from prospecting to close, driving revenue and ensuring customer success. You will play a key role in driving business growth by generating leads, conducting discovery calls, and scheduling high-value product demos. You'll assist in closing deals and will be instrumental in building the company's planner-focused sales pipeline. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for sales who thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Gen Inbound and Outbound: Engage in high-volume outbound activities, including cold calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach, to source qualified leads.
  • Understand prospect needs and qualify them as a fit for the platform.
  • Pipeline Management: Use tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, and HubSpot CRM to track and manage leads.
  • Collaboration: Work with marketing to refine outreach strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
  • Product Demos: Conduct personalized software product demos for prospects to showcase features and benefits.

Qualifications

  • 2-5+ years of B2B SaaS sales experience ideally focused on selling to B2B event planners. 
  • Proven experience in high-volume outbound sales, with a focus on meeting daily activity metrics while maintaining high-quality interactions.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, HubSpot, Apollo, Clay, or similar. 
  • Self-motivated with a track record of managing your own pipeline.
  • Capable of balancing time management across critical activities such as prospecting, pipeline management, internal collaboration, and closing.
  • Skilled at building relationships and effectively communicating value to prospective customers.
  • Strong communication, resilience, and time management.
  • Familiarity with early-stage SaaS or the meetings & events industry is a plus.
  • Sales closing experience with an ACV (average contract value) of $2K-$10K is a plus.
