Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLocation: Acworth, GADepartment: Marketing and CommunicationsReports to: Director of CommunicationsWe are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic team at Culturefy in Acworth, GA. The Video Editor will be responsible for producing high-quality video content that enhances our brand, engages our audience, and effectively communicates our message. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, has a keen eye for detail, and is proficient in video editing software.Key Responsibilities:• Video Production:• Edit raw footage into polished videos, including interviews, webinars, promotional content, social media clips, and pitch videos.• Assemble recorded footage into a finished project that matches the director’s vision and is suitable for broadcasting.• Create engaging videos for pitches using footage provided.• Creative Collaboration:• Work closely with the marketing and content teams to understand project goals and target audience.• Collaborate with graphic designers, motion graphics artists, and other team members to create cohesive multimedia content.• Post-Production:• Perform quality control checks to ensure videos meet technical and creative standards.• Add music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the final product.• Content Management:• Organize and manage video files and assets, ensuring they are easily accessible and properly archived.• Maintain a library of video clips and footage for future use.• Technical Skills:• Utilize video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) to create compelling content.• Apply color correction, audio editing, and other post-production techniques to enhance video quality.• Innovation and Improvement:• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continually improve video production processes.• Experiment with new editing techniques and tools to keep content fresh and engaging.Qualifications:• Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Communication, or related field.• 2+ years of experience in video editing and production.• Technical Skills:• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.• Knowledge of motion graphics software (e.g., After Effects) is a plus.• Creative Skills:• Strong storytelling skills and a keen eye for detail.• Ability to produce content that aligns with brand identity and marketing goals.• Interpersonal Skills:• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Portfolio:• A strong portfolio showcasing previous video editing work is required.What We Offer:• Competitive salary and benefits package• Opportunities for professional growth and development• A collaborative and innovative work environmentCompany DescriptionIMC is a culture-driven agency that strategically combines human capital strategies with world-class creative execution to drive quicker, more positive outcomes for brands.
