About the role

In this position, you’ll supervise a team of skilled accounts receivable professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate collection of customer payments. By fostering a collaborative environment and leveraging your financial expertise, you’ll drive results that contribute directly to the organization’s financial health.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of accounts receivable specialists, providing guidance, managing performance, and supporting professional development to meet departmental goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies for effective collections and dispute resolution.
  • Oversee cash application across subsidiaries and manage various billing platforms, including Maxio, Recurly, and NetSuite.
  • Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Conduct trend analysis to optimize processes and performance.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Support teams to reduce days sales outstanding (DSO) and enhance credit and collection strategies.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key customers, addressing concerns and resolving escalated issues promptly.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related finance roles.
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and processes related to accounts receivable.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite, Salesforce, Maxio (Chargify), and MS Office 365 (advanced Excel skills required).
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop a team, manage performance, and delegate effectively.

Compensation

The anticipated starting base pay range for this role is listed below. Base salary is not the only component of our competitive total rewards package - you may also be eligible for bonus, commissions, equity, and other benefits as described below. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications.

$52,000 - $88,000 base pay
