The Contract Services Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing all soft services contracts and vendor management at client sites. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong financial acumen, excellent relationship management skills, and extensive experience in facilities management. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure cost-effectiveness, and maintain high-quality service delivery while meeting or exceeding client expectations.

Contract Services Manager

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts and vendors for soft services at client sites
  • Ensure delivery of third-party vendor services within agreed scope, service level, and budget
  • Meet guaranteed savings targets
  • Lead with P&L responsibility
  • Manage vendors across various services (e.g., Fire Life Safety, Elevators, Roofing, Grounds)
  • Negotiate savings and maintain/exceed Service Level Agreements
  • Financial management, performance monitoring, and reporting
  • Support Senior Facilities Manager / Site Lead
  • Act as Client Relationship Manager when appropriate

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience (7-10 years minimum)
  • 5-7 years of Facility/Project Management experience
  • Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams
  • Expertise in IFM/Soft Services
  • Strong financial management and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage change
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Understanding of Facilities Maintenance marketplace
  • Proficiency in problem-solving and commercial judgment
  • Ability to lift 50lbs on a consistent basis

This role requires a versatile professional capable of managing various aspects of contract services, from vendor relationships to financial oversight, while ensuring client satisfaction and meeting business objectives.
