Design Team Summer Intern

Joele Frank is a leading strategic communications firm. From mergers and acquisitions, to shareholder activism, to crisis communications and other high-stakes situations – we help our clients communicate effectively with their stakeholders when it matters most.

 

We look for people with a special combination of intelligence, creativity, curiosity and talent. Successful candidates are strong designers and thoughtful communicators who thrive on tackling challenging, fast-paced situations in a team-based environment.

 

Our internship program is a hybrid (remote + in-office) 8-week paid internship. 


Some responsibilities may include:
  • Work with Creative team in developing corporate communication materials, including: Branding, marketing collateral, motion graphics, infographics, investor presentations, social media and websites
  • Assist with internal marketing and business development projects including: new business presentations, invitations and advertisements
  • Ensure branding standards are followed internally and externally
  • Collaborate with various internal and external clients which include team members, clients and third-party vendors


Candidates should possess the following:
  • Solid visual foundation with understanding of design principles, grid structures, typography and clean aesthetics
  • Ability to generate original designs
  • Ability to interpret written briefs into a creative deliverable
  • Have an organized approach to projects with sharp attention to detail
  • Meet deadlines efficiently and work under pressure
  • Quick learner who is detail-oriented and dependable
  • Able to work well both independently and in teams
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills 
  • Ability to multi-task


Education / Experience:
  • Well versed in the Creative Suite, Figma and AfterEffects
  • Basic web development skills
  • Working toward BA, BFA, or MFA in Graphic Design or a related field.
